Community meetings to be broadcast live | News, Sports, Jobs

Community informational meetings planned for Lahaina and Kahului will be broadcast live online and on Akaku, Maui County announced Thursday.

The meetings are geared toward those impacted by the wildfire disaster and will include information on housing plans, air quality status, support programs and the establishment of the Maui County Office of Recovery. They are scheduled for 5 p.m. Friday at the Lahaina Civic Center and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center in Kahului.

The public can attend in person or watch live broadcasts on the county Facebook and Instagram pages or on Akaku channel 53.
